January 26th - February 1st 2013

This week I re-edited the pizza section to make shorter, made more Rumor Mill website bits to add on for the narrative and added videos/ pictures to them in final cut pro. Stephen added in the blonde bimbo’s entrance and added all the clips of her up until the shot of where she refuses the drink, then adding more dancing and loner stereotype shots. Agatha carried on putting together the sick scene, making the editing match the beat of the song for great effect. 

January 25th 2013

Today, Agatha started editing the sick scene, while Stephen and I added in band shots to each of our parts. We also filmed the second take of the narrative, with specific plans to each shot to make quicker and easier.

January 22nd - 24th 2013

This week Stephen made the original page for the Rumor Mill website, filmed it for the narrative and added in band shots to his part of the music video. Agatha added in bits of the band clips, making sure to make the lips sync with the vocals in the song correctly. I added the pizza clips to the fight clips and started to put together bits of the narrative for the end of the video, putting together the shots for switching up the stereotypes including making the split screens. We also decided to film a bit more of the narrative to make the ending make more sense.

January 14th - 18th January 2013

This week we carried on with the editing of our music video. Stephen put together the entrances of the party-goers and other bits for the narrative, as well as putting some band bits into the beginning of the video. Agatha put together the smoker character narrative part as well as adding in band clips at the start of her section. I put together the fight scene, added band clips along with the fight and put clips together to make the ‘jump’ with the band. 

Tuesday 8th - Friday 11th January 2013

This week we started editing our music video. Stephen started editing the beginning of the video; putting the car entrance footage together and the entrance of the characters. Agatha, editing the middle, focused on putting all of the male singing clips together, syncing with the lyrics. I edited the pizza scene footage for the last section; making a story out of the clips. 

Tuesday 18th December 2012

Today, my group and I decided to split the music video up into 3 sections to edit separately; the beginning, middle and end. We did this to cut the editing process down, making it easier than editing the whole thing around one computer. We will be doing a collaborate editing session, when all of the sections are completes, to put them together and make changes, towards the end of the project. 

Monday 17th December 2012

Today, we did the same as we did with the band shots; we looked at all of the filming together so that we could see all of the clips. We then gave each other all of our clips by memory sticks so that we can all use them.
